Half the Country is Immoral, the other half is Godless
On one hand there are people who proclaim the Christian faith while carrying a gun in protection of their so-called second Amendment right; who believe they are at war with another religion, and who have a deep-seated hatred for people of color. On the other hand there are people who have denounced the existence of God, believe in homosexual lifestyle and marriage, and uphold the rights to exterminate the fetus of a pregnant woman. We live in a society on the brink of self-destruction.
Nevertheless, in spite of all the evil there is a remnant of people who still believe in and practice the goodness and mercies of God. This is called a spiritual war and many people struggle to maintain a sense of goodness and will stand up against that which is evil. The problem is too many people have given themselves over to the evil and can no longer discern what is right and what is wrong. And many of those people are in leadership positions. They have the power and the money to make evil happen.
Those who have hope must hold on to the good while discarding the bad. Love is waxing cold throughout society and sin and evil is rising. However, the more evil rises the stronger goodness becomes and the more it spreads. But when people confuse goodness with evil, it shows a complete breakdown of morality. Take note of how leaders and gatekeepers (such as the media) in society have applied negativity to any acts of goodness and objection to evil. Take note of how individual people sound when they attempt to defend a society that has become loveless.
