The Process of Eliminating the Bill of Rights
While patriotic Americans recite and stand proud behind the "Bill of Rights," there is an organization funded by billionaires that are rewriting those individual rights and replacing them with rights corporations want the public to have.
The concept behind this organization is to limit individual rights, in every area of public life, and roll out a form of servitude to corporate oligarchy. Corporations want to control society and eliminate government and the only way they can do that is to break the government.
From the inside, this organization called ALEC (the American Legislative Exchange Council), "are corporate lobbyists and state legislators who vote as equals on 'model bills' to change our rights that often benefit the corporations' bottom line at public expense. ALEC is a pay-to-play operation where corporations buy a seat and a vote on 'task forces' to advance their legislative wish lists and can get a tax break for donations, effectively passing these lobbying costs on to taxpayers."
As part of their agenda, ALEC influences politicians on issues such as:
- Worker and consumer rights
- Private and public school education policy (behavioral punishments and criminal charges)
- Health, pharmaceutical, and safety net programs (Social Security and Medicare)
- Environment, energy and agricultural policy
- Voting rights and tax laws
- Guns, prison, and crime policy
The election of politicians is ineffective when there is an entire organization working behind the scenes to transform society to reflect their interest.
Citizens need to know who actually controls their lives; who is behind the legalese of their every action and consequence during the course of a day. If more average people ran for office and rejected this organization and informed the people of whom they are, maybe the country can recover from this massive oligarchy system controlled by billionaires.
