People do not realize that some of their everyday actions and regular attitudes are the reason things do not go their way or their life never seems to go forward; only backwards and become a struggle. This causes people to fall even deeper into the same negative attributes that got them where they are. Here are 7 offenses that are not only detrimental to your well-being, but are even growing among society as normal behavior.
Conceit - If you believe some people are less than you pertaining to character, lack of material possessions, class or values, then you will often show signs of disrespect, indifference, and rudeness, even if they are simply trying to be friendly or nice toward you. You constantly assume that people seek to be like you, which is a delusion. You are offended by people who can see through your superficiality, and you are jealous of people who are better than you in different areas or have more possessions than you. Unless you find someone willing to adore and emulate you, you will eventually end up friendless, alone, and humbled to a low point. You lack understanding of life around you and measure life on the scales of achievements; therefore you cannot recognize any traits of honor, humility, or natural talent.
Lying - There are various degrees of lying, but there is one degree that is sacrilegious and very harmful to the person doing the lying and to the people around them. A harmless lie is calling in for work sick and not actually being sick, or telling your spouse you stopped at the store to get their favorite thing but have not actually stopped yet. Then there is another level of lying that is not as harmful because it is a way to avoid further complications, such as telling the bill collector that the person they are calling for is not there when they are sitting right next to you, or telling you child's teacher off when you know your child was wrong. But there is a whole different level of lying that will bring traumatic events your way and cause you to lose out on promising things in life. Liars distort the truth on any given situation where it pertains to having an effect on someone else's life, or the lives of many, millions of people. They will tell a life-altering lie on someone and stick with it as long as they can regardless of the effect it has on the person they lied on, and as long as the lie makes them look good. They also hide the truth, offer slanted alternatives to the truth, mislead, misinform and misrepresent what someone actually needs to know. This form of lying brings harsh repercussions to the lives of those people. A liar lacks shame, cannot ever be trusted, and despise people who are good by nature. Their relationships never last long and they go from person to person never able to solidify anything serious. They cannot see truth when it comes nor can they see a good person, generosity, or someone who actually cares for them. They eventually lose respect from people closes to them.
Aggression - Some people believe that a level of aggressiveness shows strength and that people should not show weakness in life. However, aggressiveness tends to lead to intimidation of others, blatant disrespect, and sometimes physical brutality at its worse. Overly aggressive people often directly or indirectly harass people who have done nothing to them or take advantage of people who are unsuspecting. They disregard rules, policies and sometimes laws that are there to protect the innocent. They have no regard for authority and will get what they want at almost any price. This behavior resorts to that person coming face-to-face with someone just as aggressive, which often leads to confrontations, sometimes violent ones. Furthermore, an aggressive person hardens themselves against life and other people for no other reasons than paranoia, thinking and believing that someone is going to eventually retaliate or seek vengeance. This ends in a life that lacks peace, security and overall rest.
Manipulation - A manipulative person is constantly in thought about how to control other people or the situations around them to their own benefit. The literally lay awake at night thinking on things that will either hurt or eliminate other people to move them out of their way or destroy a part of their lives. They plot ahead using other people in their ploys to disturb the flow of the lives around them. They are selfish, cunning, and never sincere. Their friendships are temporary and only go as far as to advance their plot. They will even use their own family members and play them against one another if it will get them what they want. However, they reap what they sow because when the plot does not go the way they planned, they are resentful and bitter toward those they used. Usually, the plot they designed will at some point come back to haunt them and will be used against them in a most detrimental way.
Revelry - Revelry could mean anything from joining in violent clashes with opponents to constant partying, festivity, and rowdiness. Most of the time revelry is preceded with drinking alcohol and taking drugs. These mind and behavior altering substances will almost always bring a person to do things they would not normally do on an average day. Not only is this lifestyle harmful to a person's long-term mental state but to their physical health also. Neglect of your body and careless activity that constantly put yourself in dangerous situations is risky and sometimes leads to serious injury or injury to someone else. Most of the time a person of this caliber is out of control and unable to maintain a sense of normalcy in their life. They are thrill-seekers, disrupters of peace, and psychopathological in nature. They are also extremely susceptible to crimes of haste, passion, and drunkenness, which they regret the next day.
Perjurer - A person that perjurers is one that will lie under oath for the sake of protecting something of interest to them; be it something of value, another person, or their own pride. Regardless of the truth, they will lie and stick to it and will do so even if it means another person will suffer extreme consequences. They disregard the law, values, even their own bloodline to defend against the truth. Usually this person is caught in the near future for something they have done and they lose something near and dear to them as a consequence.
Instigate - The lowest form a person is one who sows strife among and between friends. They get a thrill in seeing relationships fall apart and friendships end on their account. They thrive in making others miserable, doubtful, and suspicious of other people who have done nothing to deserve mistreatment. These people have never trusted anyone before and lack a sense of principle. They are easily betrayed themselves therefore they want other people to fail and to lose the things they have. This person usually ends up with more enemies than they have friends and are actually unfazed by being friendless. As the saying goes, misery loves company, and these are those people.
Aside from the above offenses, there are others that are quite naturally destined for instant karma. Most of all, treating people badly on any level brings the quickest forms of vengeance from the universal laws of human nature. Furthermore, certain people, like children, the poor, the feeble-minded, the defenseless and the powerless are ones who cannot defend against high forms of evil treatment and are not deserving of such. So for those people who find thrills in mistreating people, your destiny will come forth and all will see. Maybe not right away but it will come. And the longer it takes to come, the worse the consequences will be.
