A Spiritual Profile of Elon Musk and the Minds of the Wealthy
The human mind can only take so much apart from reality, and it tends to disintegrate and come apart. Confusion and doublemindedness take hold and soon the connection with other human beings is dissolved. This man will soon lose a part of his mind that connects him to humanity, and when that happens, the people of the earth should worry.
The two realities that exists in the consciousness of humanity around the world comes down to either belief in a Supreme Creator or not. Those who have chosen not to believe in God, (whether consciously or unconsciously), live and exist in an all-natural world, void of any concepts of spirituality. Elon Musk is one of those people.
The secular description of Musk is summed up in the excerpt below from an article that unveils some of his deepest desires for the future of humanity. This description can also be applied to many wealthy people who have long been detached from reality as it pertains to what it means to survive in life on the basic human needs. Psychopaths.
Possessing untold amounts of money automatically separates the human mind from a segment of society that the majority of the world's population experience, which is survival mode, which keeps them grounded to reality. Money elevates the wealthy into a world where they have nothing but time to think about adding to their coffers other than working to not go homeless and hungry. Without the added stress of survival, people become drowned in fantasy.
Musk, like many lost souls detached from reality, have watched way too many Hollywood sci-fi movies and have let his imagination drift away from reality into a world of "what if." The disconnect does not allow for the human mind to care for or be concerned about what most people worry about, but engulfs the mind and emotions in apathy. People become commodities instead of living souls. The writer describes this perfectly below:
"What does Elon Musk want? What is his vision of the future? These questions are of enormous importance because the decisions that Elon Musk makes - unilaterally, undemocratically, inside the relatively small bubble of out-of-touch tech billionaires - will very likely have a profound impact on the world that you and I, our children and grandchildren, end up living in. Musk is currently the richest person on the planet and, if only by virtue of this fact, one of the most powerful human beings in all of history. What he wants the future to look like is, very likely, what the future for all of humanity will end up becoming.
This is why it's crucial to unravel the underlying normative worldview that has shaped his actions and public statements, from founding SpaceX and Neuralink to complaining that we are in the midst of "a demographic disaster" because of under-population, to trying - but, alas, failing - to purchase Twitter, the world's most influential social media platform.
Musk has given us some hints about what he wants. For example, he says he hopes to "preserve the light of consciousness by becoming a spacefaring civilization & extending life to other planets," although there are good reasons for believing that Martian colonies could result in catastrophic interplanetary wars that will probably destroy humanity, as the political theorist Daniel Deudney has convincingly argued in his book "Dark Skies." Musk further states in a recent TED interview that his "worldview or motivating philosophy" aims to understand what questions to ask about the answer that is the universe, and to the degree that we expand the scope and scale of consciousness, biological and digital, we would be better able to ask these questions, to frame these questions, and to understand why we're here, how we got here, what the heck is going on. And so, that is my driving philosophy, to expand the scope and scale of consciousness that we may better understand the nature of the universe.
For example, consider again Elon Musk's recent tweets about under-population. Not only is he worried about there not being enough people to colonize Mars - "If there aren't enough people for Earth," he writes, "then there definitely won't be enough for Mars" - he's also apparently concerned that wealthy people aren't procreating enough. As he wrote in a May 24 tweet: "Contrary to what many think, the richer someone is, the fewer kids they have." Musk himself has eight children, and thus proudly declared, "I'm doing my part haha."
In Musk's mind, "he is gone and already there." He has moved on from the reality of life here on earth and have already planned life elsewhere without even actually being there or making it a reality. It is an illusion in his mind that would not only take decades maybe centuries to achieve, but excludes any rational as to its purpose.
All of the current accomplishments toward his goals, such as SpaceX and Neuralink, are projects with no absolute promise to, or explanation of, the purpose of humans occupying other planets. They are a waste of money, resources, and man hours. Much of the energy put toward those projects could have been used toward solving problems here on earth, first. But this is not how the wealthy think, they have moved on from humanity.
The human mind can only take so much apart from reality, and it tends to disintegrate and come apart. Confusion and doublemindedness take hold and soon the connection with other human beings is dissolved. This man will soon lose a part of his mind that connects him to humanity, and when that happens, the people of the earth should worry.
