When You Stand for Nothing: A Spiritual Profile of Kanye West (Ye)

You will fall for anything, and West fell hard. Many people can have sympathy for this young, misguided man, and many will just assume take pleasure in his self-destruction, but one thing is for sure, he made his own bed, from the fame to the fall.

Watching his career through the years, people have to ask themselves at some point, what did he really stand for other than himself?  He definitely was not pro-black, not after he exploited the Black community through music like many rappers do, which afterward he then took the money he made and married a white woman.

Then he cozied up to Black America’s most obvious oppressor, Donald Trump and his MAGA base, with hugs and kisses. Once he gained their financial support he was then photographed with Candace Owens - the notorious mammie-bell of white conservatives - sporting “white lives matters” shirts, while they both undermined the legitimacy of George Floyds death to the lust of their MAGA support group. He's even suggested that white men are oppressed, denying the truth of history.

Then he talked all this mess about Jews and how he did not want to be owned by them like they own everyone else in the world, in a self-righteous attempt to free himself from oppression to the detriment of losing his fortune.

Through it all, he blasphemed God by starting a religion, he confessed to psychopathological illnesses after breaking up with his wife, and he started a school with no books under the guise of being a genius. He begged the owner of Facebook for money, he made clothes no one could afford, he launched a failed run for the presidency, and his videos are stupid. Like we use to say in the hood about guys like this, “Dog is trippin’.”

The guy actually does not stand for anything other than himself. No one can even attribute his initial television rant after Katrina hit New Orleans where he said “George Bush don't care about Black people.” We can truly ask now, was he actually speaking on behalf of Bush?

Well now he has no tribe. Not the Black, Jewish, or the white one. What Ye has to do now is repent for his sins and ask God for mercy and His gift of salvation. So, pray for this man.
