Divide and Conquer: the Denouncing of Michelle is Next
Scrupulous evaluation of the political environment of Black America reveals little change to the state of Black America. If the National Urban League can print the same statistics on Black America from year to year, and in some cases even worse statistics, how can anyone in their right mind believe that politics has helped Blacks in this country?...[more]
Since entering the Presidential race, I watched with amazement as crowds of African Americans gathered in packed out venues to hear Senator Barack Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton. The crowds cheered and applauded as each candidate told their audience what they would do if they were elected President of the United States. But what they failed to tell their audiences; is that as President, there is very little that they can do for blacks. Why? Because:....[more]
Like a relationship gone badly, a woman scorned and abused, the Black Democratic team and its followers are blind to the abuse they take from the left end of the American political system. If Bush can ignore top military officials in the Pentagon, the American people, and Congress, and go in at Iraq alone, what makes Black Democrats think that the U.S. Political system would ever focus on anyone but their own?.....[more]
If you vote regularly in presidential elections, beware that the mainstream media is attempting to pit Blacks against Barack Obama by reporting all over and in almost every news media, that not enough Blacks support Obama and that the other (white) candidates may have more support from Black voters......[more]
To some young persons of African ancestry, it may come as a surprise that Daddy King's family was enrolled in the Republican Party. On the other hand, Cong. Adam Clayton Powell Jr. was enrolled in the Democratic Party.......[more]
I could be assuming too much, but after thinking about what has been going wrong since this president got in office, I wondered who would benefit or what would be different if a woman became president. It's not because I'm comparing them to men. It's because I also wondered if their politics would become a new and unique genre that could create some new political values.......[more]
Afromerica recently published an article on the concept of double-mindedness using the Black conservative mind-set of Jesse Lee Peterson; and we thought we had it all figured out. But after more research on the phenomena of double-minded Uncle Tomism, the Black conservative mind-set of Larry Elder took our theory to another level.....[more]
Imagine that if blacks voted for George W. Bush in equal numbers as Hispanics (44%), the President would have won his re-election by more than 11 million votes and Republicans would probably never lose another presidential election. Democrats would need to be on a full-time offensive to prevent such a voter switch. Any black conservative in the public spotlight would necessarily be dragged through the mud and hit with a 2X4 in an attempt to reduce their status as a respectable individual representing the Republican Party.........[more]
There are rumors that police presence at the polls on Election Day will deter minorities from voting, possibly surfacing fears of past historical attempts at voting. Recurring incidents of fire hoses and police dogs are images subliminally implanted into the minds of uninformed Blacks - mainly young Black voters - to raise questions of voting rights and possible disenfranchisement among Black voters. Where is this coming from?........[more]
Embarrassment is not a strong enough word to describe the sentiments many Blacks should feel during any election year. Dishonor mingled with shame may be a better description of the Blacks who see through the pretension of political duplicity when the Democrats seek to solidify their Black, dependency base. Using methods of fear and lies, the Democrats always seem to persuade Blacks that the Democratic Party is on their side........[more]
Election of politicians is supposed to be based on choosing someone who represents the majority of the people's interest. It should never be based on obligation, revenge against the opponent, or adoration for a candidate's personality. The coming presidential election of 2004 will evaluate voters on each of the above points, as well as influence the course of America's morality.......[more]
Here is an extensive look into the Democratic ideology on some of the political issues that face the country. No one can vote simply based on agenda and media hype or even on family tradition without considering who and what values they are voting for. Afromerica would like to bring the average voter back to the foundations of common sense and moral values by presenting the core beliefs of both parties so that the voter can make a wise decision and not one based on fallacy......[more]
Already, some liberal lobbyist is trying to get a piece of the Iraqi pie. It is not enough that the pro-choice crowd is pushing abortion on America (where over half the country disagrees) but they are now attempting to impose this feminist ideaology on Iraq women, whom most will not accept. One of the main reasons half the world dislikes America is because of their state of morality.....[more]
Understanding the Black Democrat A most disturbing reality exposed the main beliefs of Black-America in the last presidential election. Out of the entire population of black-America, half of them are registered voters and 90 percent of those voted for the Democratic Party.....[more]
Liberalism supports not the modern theories of individual ideology, but institutional reconstruction. Building a system of uniformity, which is proposed to eventually provide for the masses, is an ever-increasing agenda for Liberals. The modernization of administration, the improvement and reorganization of the courts, and the regulation of industrial corporations underlies the political and social intentions of the Liberal Party; which is achieved by intense research and hard matter-of-fact statistics and studies. Scientific facts contribute greatly to the decision-making of Liberalism as opposed to philosophical, theoretical, or theological conclusions. In the realm of humanitarianism and socialism, Liberalism embodies social, political, and civil liberties of individualism and does not seek to exploit the masses.
For those of you who are uninformed or who could even care less, this commentary is to enlighten you as to one of the many reasons why in the new millennium Blacks and other minority groups continue to face prejudice and discrimination in today's society..........[more]
Bush Wins the White House Again! This statement should not strike fear in the hearts - and especially the minds - of Black America. We as people should fear no man; even if we feel they are racist. In fact, it should serve as a foundation for the building of a new Black America.........[more]
Believing it has cornered the market on black voters, the Democratic Party may want to dismiss the GOP's announced goal of winning 25 percent of the African American vote in 2004. Democratic leaders may be correct in saying the feat can't be achieved in time for next year's presidential election. But the current political dynamics in black America do not bode well for the future; the Democratic Party could lose its good thing........[more]
Here's a deep look into Republican ideology. Placed in the Black perspective, Blacks need to seriously ponder the moral values behind the Republican agenda and not be shortsighted by slanted and stereotypical views of race. It was only until the 1940's that Black voters swung to the Democratic side, before that Blacks were overwhelmingly Republican supporters, which was based on a moral foundation.......[more]
I must confess, I listen to Rush Limbaugh every now and then simply to gain insight to what the rich are thinking, saying and believing about Blacks; I give everyone a chance. This day I was listening to Rush and after his remark I totally lost all respect for him and have heard enough. It is now proven to me that rich whitey is truly racist; and he believes that Blacks are some type of species that needs controlling.......[more]
All over the Internet Black web sites and message boards are filled with fears that the government is going to do away with Affirmative Action and possibly the Black right to vote in 2007. Black leaders are pressing constituents and rallying supporters to stand against these actions and to fight, fight, fight for Affirmative Action and to renew the law that gives us the right to vote. And what if the government does banish these laws and any other so-called rights, what would this society be like afterward? Should we even care?.....[more]
How do we as Blacks suppose to view Colin Powell? Is he a hero for the Black community; a symbol of what any young brother or sister could accomplish if they really tried despite obstacles of racism and discrimination? Or is he simply one of the chosen few from the pile of Black tokens to justify white America's claim to racial fairness?....[more]
Conservatism seeks to protect the rights of the individual by restraining the bureaucratic arms of cohesive regimes. The Conservative system is erected on individual efforts and achievements that recognize the uniqueness of one for the benefit of many, and to reward that one for their contributions to society and civilization. The institutionalized construction of disciplined organization, the strict coherence to law and order, and the pursuit of capitalistic enterprise define the strategy of Conservatism. These achievements are reached by individual effort, the ability to subsist during times of potential recession, and through the support of conglomerate connections. Theory, philosophy, and divine inspiration, all elements of the human mind and spirit, drive the unchanging routines of the Conservative Party.
