AFROMERICA SUPPORTS CINCINNATI

Right now as you read this, Black Cincinnati is weakening the power structure of psychological slavery. They have been boycotting Cincinnati businesses by the effort of unity in order to throw a blow for racial justice and equality in America. If their victories could be modeled by other Blacks in major cities, our voices would be heard, eternally.

In Cincinnati, eighteen African-American males have died in police incidents since 1995. Never again will the names of young Black men be an insignificant means to dispose of an unwanted American "resource;" but a strong-word towards the impending Black Societal appointment with power and independence. A reminder, that "blackness" and human right's are more valuable than conformity.

Too many of our sons have again died for their parent's right to promote their community. Fighting law enforcement inequities, lack of economic opportunity, scant help for depressed neighborhoods and the machinations of city politics, Black Cincinnati has wised up to America's racism and learned to hit them where it hurts, the pocket.

As in so many other U.S. cities, the problems were cast against a local history of racial segregation, discrimination and white-supremacist activism. Murder, by whatever significance you wish to give it, is wrong. You can call it, towards the threat to the innocent; you can call it, in the line of duty; you can call it, for freedom or whatever, but it is still murder.

Dwight D. Eisenhower once said; "No one has ever proven that war can be prevented with war." Men policing men in this present atmosphere of unchallenged deceit is ludicrous.

You cannot, unconditionally, trust the police, or any of their "superiors," as men being men; boys will do what boys will do. Where are the true authorities? They don't exist! Allow me to say this again; "they do not exist!"

Washington routinely turns a deaf ear to all Black homicide cases not directly affecting their political agenda. If they do not pose a political "threat" or an embarrassment to any of their offices, Washington happily looks the other way.

Nonetheless, a mist of unity, yes, unity, allow me to be the first to once again utilize this eternally forbidden, tabooed and politically sanctioned word! Black Unity! For the last two years and counting, Blacks have effectively boycotted the entire city of Cincinnati, from all over the country. Some names you know, some you do not, however, these efforts have proven undeniably effective. Case in point, the Cincinnati economy is hurting!

Not since the Montgomery bus boycott of the 1950's itself, involving the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., and others, on behalf of Rosa Parks and Blacks everywhere, have the efforts of Black People been so effective!

And yet, in regards to THIS boycott, and from within mainstream American media outlets, (even those so-called Black ones); you never hear a thing about it. Why, why do you think that is? Is it because it is about the misfortunate death of just another Black man in urban America at the hands of the police, or, is it maybe because it's just about "local economics?" Bill Clinton was accused of "just having sex" in the American oval office, and yet his efforts were rewarded with worldwide recognition! Worldwide!

Anytime Blacks have proven to be well within the realm of human rights to resist any negative aggressions, they have effectively been dismissed by this American equation. Scott and Lacey Peterson, for another example, an otherwise "model" white American family, have received more "press" than the outrage and undeniable attempts at genocide and extermination suffered by, and fought against routinely by enlightened Blacks in Cincinnati, and throughout the Black community worldwide.

Why do we not promote our own positive influences? BET, why have you not sounded the trumpet to this positive Black cause? This, (Cincinnati) could be the "prototype" to boycotts implemented by Black communities across the United States. Tavis Smiley, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Joyner, Spike Lee, Wesley Snipes, Bill Cosby; why have we (the Black community) not heard from without your humbled platforms, throughout the mainstream American media, encouraging the Black community to "kill his economy in the remainder of the United States; reject his perverse agendas, and maybe even save the rest of our children? You already know this is the only solution.

They will continue to kill and incarcerate our children and call them misfits. This is exactly why the Afromerica Liberation Movement, (ALM) promoted Black unity and independence to recognize, promote and direct the boycotting of the economy of the entire globe beyond infamy, until the Black community is situated within the bosom of respect as it deserves. The ALM ensures, "not another day," will our community be disrespected, or patronized. Climb aboard.
