Why Black America believes Republicans only are the party of racial hatred is puzzling when the Internet has proven this wrong. Race hatred spreads across all political, economic, and social lines. We are not talking about white supremacists group websites or conservative talk show host and think tanks, but race hatred is most scary coming from universities, major corporations, and the prominent groups of people we once thought were intellectually above it all.
Before the super highway of information opened the roads of communication among people, the public could only glean traces of public sentiment from television news, magazines, local newspapers and radio programs, which are designed to rosy the racial atmosphere. We had an unction that racism was real but our view of it was limited to a certain group of people based on stereotypes and faces on billboards, so to speak. It was once more difficult to prove but now has become easier.
We knew it lurked in the dark realities of suburbia and rural America and definitely from the halls of racist supremacists' orders, but never did the public know of the deep rooted racial tension being harbored and boiling in the hearts and minds of America's respected, and how pervasive it was.
Tens of hundreds of thousands of white Americans vent their frustrations daily on Internet blogs, groups, audio and video mediums, and websites, which confirms years of suspicion that even though race hatred is not spoken publically in mainstream media, it lies deeply in the hearts of many people. All one has to do is read the comments beneath any sociopolitical article on any mainstream news site, such as the New York Times or the Washington Post.
Visit any community group at MSN, Google, or Yahoo and read the post by white Americans on their feelings toward Blacks or Hispanics and you will realize what we are up against in this country. We can continue to pretend that this racism does not affect the progress of Black America and other minorities but that would be completely unwise.
Studies have concluded that since the rise of the Internet the organization of hate groups are up. It has become easier for people to located and organize others of like mind, and they have done so successfully. Militias, hate groups, and other racist groups have better communication with public authority and use it to their advantage.
Police, lawyers, judges, and political officials go anonymous on message boards to vent their frustrations with their jobs, frustrations toward illegal's, Blacks, and corporate criminals, and if this seems far fetched, as suggested earlier, read some of the post online for yourself.
University political think tanks such as The Heritage Foundation, the Brookings Institute, GOPUSA, Capitalism Magazine, and other sociopolitical organizations are public for the reading if anyone does not believe that racism against Blacks and others comes in the form of reality. However, if one refuses to believe it is racism against people of color, maybe they would rather believe or accept it as white America having a vested interest in protecting what they feel is theirs against rising Black progress and the surge of immigrants into the country. Either way, the voice of resentment is growing louder by the day; braver and more boastful.
In the meantime, there are Blacks who refuse to believe that racism exist and is the prime cause of economic and social stagnation of the masses of Blacks; and they would rather believe Blacks have done this to themselves by reason of laziness, unintelligence and natural-born criminal pathology (all of which are erroneous historical lies attached to Blacks in the spirit of racial hatred). Whites believe these things and use them as excuses not to give Blacks and Black children a chance. Instead, they cast off Blacks as worthless and in need of correction rather than attempt to include them into society.
This mindset is proven over and over in comment sections of major online newspapers, magazines and blogs and university studies. The reality is that Blacks have not been paranoid, but correct in their assumption of race hatred in many whites. BET's website had to shut down its message boards a few years ago because of an explosion of racial hate postings by a group of whites, as have many others Black community message boards and websites.
Many Black sites have been hacked, perpetrated, and defaced by whites using race slanders. Many negative articles and photos have been posted and circulated about famous and infamous Blacks as jokes. Photos of mock-face parties held by white kids, adults and even white actors have proven time and again that the Black identity is a byword in the white society and terrorism by noose hanging and cross burning remains their pastime. Though it happens to all other races also, to deny it happens to Blacks or that it is not a factor in the impediment of Black progress is an adolescent mistake.
Also, all types of Internet storefronts and auctions that sell Jim Crow and slavery Black memorabilia sprang up to popularity, confirming the fact that the trading of this type historical mockery does and have always existed among whites in private before the Internet revealed its truth. Private video and audio of whites venting pure hatred for Blacks have surfaced also, not only among so-called responsible adults, but among white children as young as 10 years old, further confirming that today's white parents still teach their children the mindset of racism.
Black leadership and those who represent Black America in the public eye must bring this to the forefront and expose it for what it is, modern-day terrorism. We cannot continue to act as though it does not exist because what is done in the dark always manifest itself in the light of reality. From the dark hills of Kentucky to the halls of Congress, white racism is real, active and dangerous. No law will erase these feelings toward Blacks in America but only brings forth more resentment, but enough people that will expose this crime could bring forth change.
