The Age of Recompence
Years and seasons change at their appointed times. Humanity expects them to; but when one age gives way to another, we walk blind unaware of the transformation. A few years ago, the ages changed and history has recorded those changes right before the eyes of the world; though we were unaware.
What we know as normal is currently being replaced by a new thing. A thing that has come to overturn the struggle. For far too long the rich and powerful have exploited the labors of the people the world over and we did not resist. Year after year they tightened their grip on humanity until we could not breathe. That age is over.
The wealthy is now the target of the devil and his angels. They are being stalked, hunted like hogs, and have become prey to the beast of the field and fowls of the air. Their voices will cry loud for mercy yet go unheard. In their pride and foolish hearts, they will curse God and try to hide.
Clutching tight to their riches they will seek a safe harbor in mountains around the world only to meet face-to-face with another beast that will devour even more of their treasures. They have lived long and fat on the backs and souls of the innocent; now they will see those they oppress as favored and plead with them for mercy.
The people of the world will slowly rise from under the dust of tyranny, despair, and poverty and watch the sunrise with different eyes. Eyes without tears of pain or bloodshot blurs. They will see the rich man fall hard to his demise and his devices crumble and fade away like dead grass.
The idols will bow, the other gods will stoop down at the feet of the Most High and the people will see it; and they will rejoice and once again believe. "Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" Isaiah 46:9, 10.
